Halls Of Ivy Synopses
The Halls Of Ivy series first aired on NBC on January 1, 1950. Two auditions shows were made on June 22, 1949 and on June 23, 1949. The real life married couple Ronald Colman and his wife Benita Hume played the lead roles of Dr. William Todhunter Hall and Victoria Hall respectively. Ronald portrayed the college president of Ivy University with Benita playing his wife, living in the "Power House" on One Faculty Row. Other stars were Williard Waterman, Herbert Butterfield and Gloria Gordon. The show created by and written by Don Quinn and Ken Carpenter was the announcer. Schlitz Beer was the sponsor. The last program aired on June 25, 1952.
