The Great Gildersleeve Synopses
The Great Gildersleeve premiered on NBC on August 31, 1941. The sponsor was Kraft's Parkay margarine. Harold Peary was the Great Gildersleeve until September 6, 1950 after which Willard Waterman took over the role. Other regulars were Lurene Tuttle as Marjorie, Walter Tetley as Leroy, Earle Ross as Judge Horace Hooker, Shirley Mitchell as Leila Ransom, and Bea Benardaret as Eve Goodwin. The final show aired on June 2, 1954.
